New Church Building
Believing that Jesus is indeed the True Light who has come into our world of darkness, we joyfully proclaim the hope of the gospel that people all around us need. As we have done this it has become evident that we needed more space for classrooms and fellowship hall space, as well as a need for our worship area to be on the same level as bathrooms that adequately serve the elderly and the handicapped. Thus, in 2014 we began an ambitious project to construct a new church house. The 80’ by 50’ structure adds to the ministry space in our present building, and will enhance our worship, fellowship, and outreach to our community by providing a fellowship hall with a kitchen suitable for serving meals after funerals, showers, and at family reunions.

The pictures provided will give you a window into the work done primarily by people in our community and church family under the direction of our deacons.
The new church house has now been completed as of 3/01/2019!

Vacation Bible School 2018
The theme for our Vacation Bible School this year was The Joy of the Lord! We enjoyed the many joyful children who came to VBS to learn more about the Joy of the Lord!

Youth Outreach
We are committed, as were our early Bible ladies, to reaching out to the youth of our community with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and equipping parents and grandparents in the Christian nurture and training of the children entrusted to them. We do this in our regular worship services, in our Christian Education of all ages in the Sunday School, in our annual Vacation Bible School, in our Bible Clubs at local schools, and in our summer camp program.

The pictures tell the story of some of these outreaches.

Pinnacle Natural Preserve Park- Youth and families hike
We love being able to host events for the youth in our church and our community! On this day, we had a potluck lunch at our church house with some of our youth & their families. Then we made a short trip to Pinnacle Natural Preserve Park, located in Russell County, Virginia. We highly recommend a day trip to this beautiful park!
