2024 Vacation Bible School
Slide show—At this VBS, we explored the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life.

2022 Vacation Bible School
See the slide show here on our YouTube Channel. This year's theme was Sanctity of Life where we learned about the value and beauty of human life. God created boys and girls in his image so that we might know and glorify him!

New Church Building
Believing that Jesus is indeed the True Light who has come into our world of darkness, we joyfully proclaim the hope of the gospel that people all around us need. As we have done this it has become evident that we needed more space for classrooms and fellowship hall space, as well as a need for our worship area to be on the same level as bathrooms that adequately serve the elderly and the handicapped.

Thus, in 2014 we began an ambitious project to construct a new church house. The 80’ by 50’ structure adds to the ministry space in our present building, and has enhanced our worship, fellowship, and outreach to our community by providing a fellowship hall with a kitchen suitable for serving meals after funerals, showers, and at family reunions.

The new church house was completed as of 3/01/2019! We thank the Lord for the loving labors of the church family and of teams from sister churches that were given for this ambitious project. We thank the Lord that the building was completed and dedicated in March of 2019 completely debt free.

Vacation Bible School 2018
The theme for our Vacation Bible School this past year was Jesus, the Light of the world! We enjoyed the attendance of more than  60 students and a closing program well-attended by parents and relatives!

Youth Outreach
We are committed, as were our early Bible ladies, to reaching out to the youth of our community with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and equipping parents and grandparents in the Christian nurture and training of the children entrusted to them. We do this in our regular worship services, in our Christian Education of all ages in the Sunday School, in our annual Vacation Bible School, in our Bible Clubs at local schools, and in our summer camp program.

The pictures tell the story of some of these outreaches.

Pinnacle Natural Preserve Park- Youth and families hike
We love being able to host events for the youth in our church and our community! On this day, we had a potluck lunch at our church house with some of our youth & their families. Then we made a short trip to Pinnacle Natural Preserve Park, located in Russell County, Virginia. We highly recommend a day trip to this beautiful park! Check out their website @ http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/natural-heritage/natural-area-preserves/pinnacle.
